Residents of Yonkers and the rest of the Hudson Valley can send off winter and welcome spring in style during Hudson Valley Restaurant Week.
Although it is called Restaurant Week, the promotion actually runs for two weeks, with restaurants in the area offering special deals now and through March 25.
The organizers of the event, Valley Table, recently announced the full lineup of restaurants that will be participating. The restaurants are located in seven counties across the Valley, such as Orange, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland, Ulster, Westchester, and Columbia.
Restaurants that participate in Restaurant Week or similar events can use area Print shops to produce their special Menus. Each participating restaurant will have three-course prix-fixe Menus during the two weeks. Lunch Menus are available for $22.95 and dinner Menus for $32.95.
Although many of the participating restaurants have done so in the past, a few are new to Restaurant Week. Among the newcomers are the restaurant at the Beacon Hotel in Dutchess, which serves a European-influenced menu, and The Egg's Nest, which focuses on vegetarian and vegan fare, in Ulster. The complete list of restaurants is available at Valley Table's website.
Since Restaurant Week tends to be a popular event, it's recommended that anyone hoping to dine at the participating eateries should make a reservation in advance. These should be made with the restaurants directly.
