As Yonkers enjoys another fall, the Lincoln High School Class of 1983 will once again join together for an evening that will take them back to their salad days.
It has been 40 years since the scholars walked the stage and received their diplomas. A reunion, which will be held at Dunwoodie Golf Course’s The Fairways, is in the works for mid-October.
While the attendees catch up and share memories of their high school days, they will be able to choose their favorites from the buffet and carving station. Before doing so, they will have a chance to mingle during a cocktail hour, and light bites will be passed. After dinner, everyone can go for a spin on the dance floor to some retro tunes or just enjoy recounting days gone by. A DJ will supply the music.
Since it can be easy to lose touch after high school, a reunion like this gives former schoolmates a chance to come together. A festive banner for almost any occasion can be prepared by a local banner printing company.
The 40th anniversary reunion of the class of 1983 will be held on Saturday, October 14. Guests will be treated to five hours of fun, starting at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $125 each and can be bought from the AllEvents.in listing.
