A Yonkers historic site will welcome one and all for a day filled with holiday celebrations, and traditions from all over the world will be featured.
Philipse Manor Hall will soon be welcoming a special guest who will be taking some time from his busy schedule to come all the way from the North Pole to attend the festivities. There will be lots of themed activities for the crowd to enjoy, and everyone will be able to spend some time with St. Nicholas.
Many of the traditions that will be showcased will pay tribute to the area’s Dutch heritage, and there will even be a live storytelling session and singalong. The kids can make a craft, and there will be scavenger hunts, light refreshments and baked goods for everyone to enjoy. Along with the Dutch-themed celebration, the crowd will be treated to festivities that hark back to other countries as well, and the organizers explained that the event is suitable for any age.
Hosting a large function like this can be made a lot easier thanks to support from area printing service companies. They can supply everything from decor with a traditional theme, to coloring sheets for the kids, and they can also offer helpful advice that can help customers in selecting the products and services that best fit their needs.
Philipse Manor Hall Historic Site has scheduled this celebration for December 5. It will begin at 12:00 noon, and it is free to attend.
