An organization that believes every child should have a chance to play baseball has planned a Yonkers area fundraiser, and a special guest has sent in his RSVP to attend.
The Miracle League of Westchester believes all kids, regardless of their physical, cognitive, communication or other challenges, can enjoy the game, and its Holiday Party will give the youngsters who took part, as well as their families, time to celebrate. Due to space constraints, only the players and immediate family (including their siblings) can be accommodated at the venue.
The guests at the function will be able to visit some crafting stations, and food will be served. There will be music and dancing, and everyone can have their photo taken with Santa, who will be stopping by for the festivities. Players, buddies and anyone who is 13 or under can participate free of charge, while tickets for everyone else are $15 each. This will help to offset the costs of hosting the activity.
At holiday-themed parties,a festive banner may provide the final finishing touch. A banner printing company will have options for this, including reusable styles. These may be especially attractive to a not-for-profit organization, as they can be used over and over.
The date for the Miracle League of Westchester Holiday Party will be December 12th. The Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown is set to host the festivities.
