A Yonkers area food service establishment wants to bring joy to each child this holiday season, and to help make that happen, it will be bringing back one of its popular seasonal events.
Jerry’s Pizza has announced the date for its annual BRB Christmas Toy Drive, and it will provide families with a morning of festive fun. Anyone who would like to get involved by donating a new and unwrapped toy or toys has been asked to contact 332-275-0755.
The celebration will see boys treated to haircuts while the girls receive a manicure, and there will be complementary photos taken with Santa. Everyone can sit in on an ornament-making class where they will craft a keepsake to treasure. Anyone who has some gently used clothes or footwear to donate can do so, and these contributions will be gathered and distributed to those in need of some warmth.
As well as the gifts, the party will feature live music along with free refreshments. Items will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, and it will also provide an opportunity for neighbors to join together and enjoy the spirit of the season. A poster printing company may be tasked with crafting materials that help to get the word out as many as possible about an upcoming local activity like this.
