Runners who are not ready for the season to be over will want to make a note in their diaries, as Yonkers is preparing to host a Thanksgiving-themed distance run.
Matt’s 2026 5K Turkey Trot Run/Walk has announced the official date and opened online registration to interested individuals who wish to make reservations ahead of Yonkers’ premier holiday 5K. The run, which will proceed with rain or shine, is open to participants of all fitness and experience levels, and all are encouraged to go at their own pace.
Promotional Products will play a role in helping those who cross the finish line commemorate their achievement, as all finishers will receive a medal and t-shirt. Complimentary water and snacks will be available to participants after they finish the course. Professional photographers will be onsite, and each runner can look forward to free finish line photos from the Turkey Trot 5K.
Family and friends will be able to follow live updates to track their favorite runner. Awards will be given to the top three men and women participants, and winners of their respective age groups will be mentioned on the race’s website.
Check-in is at 7:00am on Thursday, November 26th, with the race starting at 9:00am. Participants will meet at Tibbets Brook Park in Yonkers. Interested individuals can register online for $50 each.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
