The Yonkers Public Library system offers programming for almost every age and interest, and fans of comics, anime, and pop culture may all be interested in one of its upcoming activities.
The Riverfront Library’s Riverfront Auditorium and Atrium will be welcoming the 2024 Yonkers Comic Book Cosplay Convention. Taking place in early October, it will be running for seven hours, and all ages are on the guestlist.
The plans for the day include panel discussions that feature industry insiders, and a gaming tournament will offer excitement for players and spectators. Lego building activities are on the agenda, and several local vendors will be setting up shop. Those with a flair for fashion can demonstrate their talents in the cosplay fashion show, although this will only be open to those who register their interest in advance.
