Forest Hills invited to view star show spectacular

While the city rights may block out most of the stars in the nighttime skies about Forest Hills, a local event will provide its residents with a chance to view the constellation in the sky above their home area.

The Ridgewood branch of the Queens Public Library System will soon be welcoming “That Planetarium Guy”, who will bring along his own portable star show. Dubbed “The Sky Tonight”, this in-person experience will be delivered in English, and seats must be reserved in advance.

The facilitator for the activity will utilize a digital planetarium projector, and it will be a tour of the stars and constellations, and there will be stories from different cultures shared about them. The audience can observe how the moon goes through its monthly phases, and distant planets will also be showcased. The largest meteor shower ever recorded will also be part of the show, and the event will run for one hour.

Libraries and the not for profit institutions often operate on a tight budget. A printing services company can offer products and services at a wide variety of price points, and can help its clients choose the ones best suited to their individual needs.

Forest Hills residents who would like be part of this sneak peek into the night time sky above their home neighborhood is scheduled for January 26th. The show will kick off at 3:30 pm.
