The Tunnels to Towers foundation honors a firefighter who came to the rescue on 9/11, as well as other first responders, and a golf outing will help to fund its activities.
Bellerose golfers will be taking to the links at Cherry Valley Club for the first annual Uncle G Classic, which will celebrate the life of Gary Gunning, who was affectionately known to many as “Uncle G”. A dinner-only ticket option is available for anyone not playing or who cannot be part of the entire day, and any questions can be directed to 516-263-5170.
The plans for the day will see golfers enjoy playing through, and friends, families and colleagues are encouraged to form a team in order to participate. Along with the golf, there will be an assortment of contests and prize draws, and dinner is also on the schedule for the occasion. Drinks will be served, and there will be opportunities for everyone to mix and mingle.
