Bellerose event fosters family literacy

Teaching children to read is what gives them keys to knowledge, and a Bellerose event will support local literacy efforts for the youth.

The free ‘Reading Rocks!’ back-to-school literacy bash will encourage everyone to pick up a good book, and it has a variety of activities on its schedule. It will begin with some brief opening remarks, and the agenda runs trout the afternoon.

The attendees will be able to sit in on an author read aloud session, and there will also be workshops for parents that will arm them with tips for promoting literacy at home. There will be book giveaways and distribution of resources, and the day will wrap up with closing remarks. The celebration will be running for three hours, and The Luxe Library: Bookstore & Lounge, which is located at 247-25 Jericho Turnpike in Bellerose, will be the venue for the day.

Choosing appropriate marketing materials for a special occasion can help to ensure it will be a success. Organizers often turn to a poster printing company for promotional assistance, as they will have lots of options on offer.

The ‘Reading Rocks!’ literacy bash will be helping to give kids the keys to learning on September 13th, and it will run from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm. More information about the activity as well as its host organizer, can be found on its web listing.
