An upcoming wine walk in downtown Carson City is part of a regular event held on the first Saturday of every month. Presented by the Carson City Downtown Business Association (DBA), the walk is designed to promote and support restaurants, bars, entertainment and services in the core of the city.
The non-profit DBA and its members organize events and activities as part of the mission to grow a vibrant business district. Over the last several years, Carson City has been working to revitalize downtown space under the Envision Carson City Master Plan, making the area more pedestrian friendly and adding lighting and other amenities.
Participants can stroll through downtown while enjoying a variety of wines from different establishments. There will be special deals at certain businesses along with entertainment. A downloadable map will be available online prior to the event as well as information on voting for favourite stops along the route.
Ticket sales begin two weeks in advance of the event and can be purchased online up until 11 am on the day of the walk. Tickets are $25 per person but those who have saved an official glass from a previous walk will only pay $20. Organizations that promote activities such as this often use poster printing to highlight their events.
The Wine Walk will be held on February 7, 2026 from 1 pm to 5 pm beginning at the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City.
