Carson City announces Easter Egg Hunt

Families will gather in Carson City next month for a special spring holiday celebration that highlights area history.

The Pumpkin, Pioneers and Tall Tales Easter Egg Hunt will be presented by the Nevada Days Committee. The group, which organizes the annual Nevada Days Parade in October, has named the egg hunt to correspond with the official theme of this year’s parade. Celebrated for more than 160 years, the historic parade has grown to become the largest statehood parade in the country.

As a related event, the Easter egg hunt provides an early start to the Nevada Day season. Families can get into the spirit of celebrating the area’s stories and colorful history.

Children of all ages are invited to meet the Easter Bunny along with other special guests and participate in the egg hunt, searching to find hidden candy and toys.

Families who attend the event can also enjoy live music by a deejay, vendors and food trucks. Businesses and organizations that take part in community events such as this, often use poster printing as part of their advertising.

The Pumpkin, Pioneers and Tall Tales Easter Egg Hunt is a free event that will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 9 am to noon at the Livermore Sports Complex in Carson City. The egg hunt will begin at 11 am. Further information is available on the Nevada Day website.
