Next month, the Downtown Throw Down Summer 2022 tournament will be bringing together cornhole players in Carson City. Northern Nevada Cornhole and the Carson City Downtown Business Association will be jointly hosting this event.
Two separate player divisions will be available to accommodate cornhole teams of varying levels of skill. The Backyard Division is best for casual or new Carson City players, while experienced cornhole players can join the Competitive Division. Registration fees cost $50 per team of two players for the Backyard Division and $60 for Competitive Division players. The 50 teams that sign up the earliest will receive the Downtown Throw Down swag. To display pertinent event details and rules for people who would like to join, the organizers of tournaments often utilize local Print shops to produce Copies of event announcements and important rules.
Cash prizes will be given to three winning teams of each division of the Downtown Thrown Down tournament. Backyard Division players will receive $200 for first place, $100 for second place, and $50 for third place. Competitive Division prizes are $500 for first place, $200 for second place, and $100 for third place.
The Downtown Throw Down Summer 2022 cornhole tournament will be hosted in the city on Saturday, July 9 between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm on 108 West Telegraph Street.
