A popular New York-based band will play in Carson City this August.
The group, known as The Deadbeats, performs covers of one of the country's most iconic rock groups, The Grateful Dead. The Deadbeats have gained acclaim for their longevity and emulation of the Jerry Garcia-fronted band. They also hold a Guinness World Record for “most rock concerts performed.”
The Deadbeats offer fans the chance to experience music reminiscent of a live Grateful Dead concert. The group has engaged audiences since its debut in 1996 at the Mad Dogs and Englishmen Pub. They have also started Jerry Bash, which is now a festival in Nothern California.
During their performances, they also infuse the sounds of other well-known bands such as Phish, The Beatles, and JGB. During their years in operation, the lineup of members has changed multiple times. As of 2019 though, the group consists of Tom and Eric Menig, Glenn Tucker, Rob Kopp, Jen Knapp, Peter Wilson, and Darby McConnell.
The cost for tickets to this event will be $28 for general admission. These are available for sale on the AllEvents.in listing. Poster printing can be a great way to attract even larger audiences to events such as this one.
This event will take place on Saturday, August 19 at the Nashville Social Club, located 1105 South Carson Street.
