Livingston Library to throw Dog Man Party

The public library in Livingston is planning a special event for children and their parents or guardians.

The event is suitable for children of elementary school age and their accompanying adults, and will give people a chance to enjoy a Dog Man Party. The afternoon will give attendees a chance to draw comics of their own, play games, get temporary tattoos, and enjoy craft projects. When they organize events like this, hosting organizations could use banner printing to create suitable decorations.

Dog Man is a series of graphic novels written by Dav Pilkey, who readers may also recognize as author of the Captain Underpants series. The title character is a hybrid—the head of a dog on the body of a man. The mildly gruesome character was created when a police officer and his dog Greg were in an accident, and surgery combining them was the only way to save them both. Dog Man is a crime-solving cop.

It is necessary that a caregiver at least 16 years of age needs to remain with children under 12, or be in the library where they can be found immediately. If the child is under the age of seven, the guardian must remain with them at all times.

The Friends of the Library are sponsoring the Dog Man Party, which is scheduled for February 18, from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm. Anyone who wants to come is invited to just stop by during those hours.
