Stress-relieving workshop provides help in Livingston

A wellness lecture focused on stress and anxiety is coming to Livingston this May to give area residents the tools necessary to get the most from life.

The Finding Calm: Practical Tools for Managing Stress and Anxiety course will soon open its doors to Livingston residents who are ready to take the next step in their mental health journey. The event will use an interactive format led by Diane Lang, who will help each guest explore the root causes behind anxiety and stress.

The purpose of Lang’s teachings is to share with attendees these causes and help each begin building the skills for a fulfilling and balanced existence. The tips students learn can make a difference with improved focus, higher sleep quality, and a more positive attitude. Print shops can help organizers procure the documents and promotional resources necessary to help a brand grow through such events.

Students will learn the early warning Signs of burnout, discover steps for simplification of daily routines, and practice Lang’s recommended techniques in a secure environment. Lang has a Master’s Degree in counseling and pairs it with 25 years of college-level teaching, making her an ideal fit for the session.

The Livingston Public Library, located on Robert Harp Drive, is planning on hosting the stress relief workshop. It’s scheduled for Monday, May 4th, at 7:00 PM. Interested parties can make reservations online.
