An upcoming event allows people to laugh and enjoy healing light at the same time.
The Full Spectrum Quantum Wellness Center is the host of Comedy Movie Night, a series of films that continues with “The Accidental Husband.” The movies are shown as audience members enjoy a “light bath.”
The wellness center uses The Light System – Full Spectrum to support the mind, body, and spirit. Light therapy is recognized and recommended for those who suffer seasonal affect disorder (SAD), a form of depression that most often occurs in fall and winter. At the center, people watching the film are seated in a room surrounded by 48 panels of organized energy and light that create an atmosphere of healing. The center likens the Light System process to the way a battery, computer, or phone needs to be recharged occasionally.
“The Accidental Husband” stars Uma Thurman, Colin Firth, and Jeffery Dean Morgan in a romantic comedy about a fireman (Morgan) who wants revenge against the talk-show expert (Thurman) who caused him to break up with his fiancée, only to fall for her.
The relaxing evening is scheduled for Sunday, August 19 at Full Spectrum Wellness, 48 West Northfield Road in Livingston. Tickets are $35 per person and seating is limited. The doors open at 6:00 pm and the film begins at 6:30 pm. Using flyer printing provides organizers with an economical way to promote local events like this.
