Livingston event raises MS awareness

An upcoming event in Livingston will educate people about Multiple Sclerosis.

Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Day 2025 will take place to support Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month. The event will include interactive and wellness, socialization, and educational programs. This conference is taking place during MS Awareness Week, where people with the disease are invited to share their experiences.

The program begins at 11.00 am, with a meet and greet with members of the Multiple Sclerosis Comprehensive Care Team. Lunch, which will be provided, is from 12.00 pm until 1.00 pm, and features remarks by guest speakers. There will be a stretching break from 1.00 pm until 1.15 pm, led by the Outpatient Rehabilitation Team, and the day ends with a Socialization and Wellness Program, taking place from 1.15 pm until 2.00 pm.

The guest speakers, with the exception of nurses from the Comprehensive Care Center, are all from the RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group. These experts are Janette McDermott, MD, FACS, who practices Surgical Oncology; Anokhi Shah, MD, a specialist in Internal Medicine; and Matthew Tremblay, MD, PhD, a specialist in neurology.

The event is scheduled for March 13, from 11.00 am until 2.00 pm at the RWJBarnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center, Conference Room A, 200 South Orange Avenue. When they plan conferences like this, organizers will frequently use flyer printing to develop an agenda for attendees, including a schedule and identifying the speakers.
