Vintage beer festival offers unique flavors in Durham

A beer festival is being planned for Durham residents who want to experience vintage flavors and discover new options.

The 2025 Rare and Vintage Beer Tasting has an official date in the Books, offering an intimate space to try new beers and brewers from around the region. The gathering will bring over 50 breweries together to put their best rare and vintage beers on the market. Attendees can ask questions of the brewers and learn the process of making each beer on display.

The festival will partner with the Michael James Jackson Foundation, a local non-profit that raises money to fund scholarships for black, indigenous, and individuals of color seeking new educational opportunities. Attendees can enjoy the festival while knowing they are making a difference in the community. Banner printing is a bold and colorful way to display sponsor logos while welcoming guests to the festival.

The tasting will be held at a venue with indoor and outdoor spaces. Interested parties are encouraged to check the weather and dress for comfort. The venue has a strict no-pet and no-children policy to promote safety and wellness for all attendees.

Historic Durham Athletic Park will host the festival from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, January 25th. Street parking and spots in local parking lots are available. Regular tasting tickets are available online for $95 per guest.
