Durham residents will have the chance to learn the secrets behind brewing the perfect cup of coffee this autumn in preparation for colder temperatures and cozy settings.
The Brewing Science workshop, which is being organized by Counter Culture Durham, has announced the date for interested individuals to add to their Calendars for this November, with attendees learning helpful tips that may improve the quality of their morning cup of joe. The experience will utilize hands-on learning styles to help each student build confidence and muscle memory when preparing to brew their next batch of coffee.
Students will learn all about the different variables that affect the quality and taste of a batch of coffee, with the workshop using the pour-over method to demonstrate these variables at work. Promoting events like this can be easy and efficient with flyer printing, with Flyers being placed on bulletin boards in cafes and other busy spaces to reach more people.
All who attend can expect to leave the workshop with a greater understanding of manual coffee brewing and troubleshooting techniques to prevent flat or burnt flavor profiles. The class is expected to run for four hours.
Counter Culture Coffee Durham, located on Mallard Avenue, will host the workshop. The doors open at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 17 with an additional opportunity scheduled for Tuesday, December 1. Registration costs $200 per student online.
