Vintage beer festival brings aficionados to Durham

Beer lovers with a taste for the finer things are in for a treat this March, as a beer festival that caters to rare and vintage brews will be setting up shop in Durham.

The 2026 Rare & Vintage Beer Tasting festival has an official date on the calendar, and enthusiasts in the area will want to get their tickets to secure a fun day in Durham. The festival will set up an intimate space where guests can speak with the brewers and sample rare beers.

The organizers have arranged for over 50 breweries to attend this year’s gathering. In addition to sampling different beer options, attendees can learn more about the steps that go into crafting different types of beer. The festival is partnering with the Michael James Jackson Foundation, with proceeds going toward scholarships for Black, indigenous, and People of Color within the brewing industry.

Appetizers and bottled water will be available inside the event to ensure a comfortable visit for all. Attendees will also receive Promotional Products like specialty glassware to commemorate the festival, with the Promotional Products providing years of ongoing impressions. Spots at the gathering are limited.

The beer tasting is scheduled for Saturday, March 7th, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. It will be held at Historic Durham Athletic Park. General admission tickets are available online and cost $103.22 per person.
