Durham’s DIYers who are looking to add to their set of skills will want to circle the date on the calendar, as a business in town has announced a flooring workshop it’s offering.
The Learning Clinic: Flooring Basics in 1 Hour has opened online registration to homeowners, realtors, and renovators who want to learn more about installing flooring in their homes and properties. The purpose is to empower students with the skills and knowledge they need to replace old or damaged flooring on their own.
The class, which will run for approximately one hour, will help students determine when the support layer for the new flooring is ready. It will also help these individuals find suitable underlayment and bonding materials for their chosen flooring option to ensure the best results. Brochure printing is a cost-effective way for organizers to promote events like this while providing extra information to students to enhance the learning experience.
Other considerations covered during the class include the things to consider when selecting a finished floor and tips to avoid costly flooring mistakes. It can allow DIYers to save on flooring projects. Spots in the class are limited.
