Area runners who want to enjoy a fun race in the great outdoors will have the chance to sign up for a 5K fun run in Durham.
The 5K Fun Run x CRANK ARM Durham, which is part of the 2026 North Carolina Brewery Running Series, has an official date on the event calendar, allowing runners to build the event into their plans. Interested parties are welcome to run, jog, or walk the course, and the experience is open to all skill and experience levels.
Participants are encouraged to move at the pace they’re comfortable at. Upon crossing the finish line, each person will be greeted with a cold, locally brewed beverage to celebrate the accomplishment with friends and like-minded individuals. Promotional Products like collector Pint Glasses and other pieces of swag will be available to commemorate participation and generate impressions for the hosting brewery.
The afternoon will feature music, games, food, and partner activations to keep the fun going after the fun run ends. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local non-profits, with the series raising over $700,000 so far. It’s a rain-or-shine event with limited capacity.
Crank Arm Brewing Company in Durham will be the check-in and finish location for the 5K fun run. Participants should arrive at 10:45 AM, and the run will start at 11:00 AM. Registration costs $44.97 per person online.
