Aspiring chefs and Durham residents who enjoy cooking for themselves and others will want to mark their Calendars for an upcoming cooking workshop in town.
The Seafood 101 Grilling Class is coming to a local venue to provide a hands-on learning opportunity for attendees who wish to learn more about grilling different types of seafood. Special emphasis will be placed on proper fish butchery and the most effective ways to grill a whole fish to capture flavor and prevent dryness.
The class will be led by Nate Figaro, the head of 8020 Creole BBQ, and it will be held at Durham’s Original Grills. Figaro will use his years of experience grilling seafood to provide guidance, effective tips, and demonstrations that ensure a positive learning environment for all. Printing services can help organizers by providing quality printed documents that share recipes and ingredients with students, allowing them to continue learning at home.
Students will also learn about the best practices to use when handling shrimp and sides to provide a safe cooking and dining environment. Figaro is offering a way for Durham’s grill masters to add new dishes to the menu for family gatherings this summer.
Original Grills on NC Highway 55 in Durham will be hosting the grilling workshop, which starts at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 6. Enrollment costs $92.55 per person online.Get a Free Quote for Calendars
