Instacart, as of July 7, has started delivering items from Total Wine & More in Durham and two other North Carolina cities.
The rapidly growing retail delivery service Instacart is including the wineries for shoppers in Durham, Charlotte and Raleigh. Customers can now have items from America’s largest independent retailer of spirits, fine wine, and beer delivered directly to their door in as little as one hour.
Customers must be 21 or older to order alcohol and will be required to give their date of birth during checkout online. Upon delivery of alcohol, someone 21 or older must be on the premises to sign for the delivery after showing a valid photo ID showing proof of age.
Instacart has successfully implemented its business model, which provides personal shoppers via an online format. Shoppers accept orders through their smartphones and then handpick grocery items and deliver them to the customer’s home. Customers choose the delivery timeframe that suits them best, such as up to an hour, up to two hours or a scheduled future delivery time of their choice.
Poster printing companies could be used to assist businesses like Total Wine & More, which has 135 locations in 18 states, to promote a variety of developments, such as naming its North Carolina stores that are partnering with Instacart.
