A Comicon event is in the works, bringing like-minded Durham residents together to celebrate their shared interest in different types of comic media and culture.
The NCComicon 2024 celebration will be ready to begin next month, welcoming video game and comic enthusiasts from around North Carolina to Durham to network, make new friends, and indulge in their interests. The epic weekend will allow guests to enjoy cosplay, comics, and collectibles under one roof.
Organized by NCComicon, the organizers aim to bring local vendors together along with a diverse lineup to add value and a special experience to each guest who attends the 2024 show. Guests will have opportunities to meet their favorite creators and get photos to remember their experience. Attendees can immerse themselves in a world of superheroes, villains, exciting guests, and contests. Exclusive merchandise from event vendors will also be available for an additional cost. The event is ideal for die-hard fans and area residents with a curiosity for pop culture.
The NCComicon gathering will be held at the Durham Convention Center on the weekend of November 9 and 10, with the doors opening at 10:00 AM. Tickets start at $25 per guest.
