St. Ann-based company plans major upgrades
Save-A-Lot, a discount grocer based in St. Ann, is planning to update in-store image and marketing efforts to reflect a more contemporary feel.
The company is looking to increase its investment in its stores. The redesign of the stores will feature a more modern brand that is the result of feedback from employees and customers. Such feedback often results in a new logo design.
In addition, the stores will introduce a layout that is brighter, lighter, and easier to navigate, with an enhanced shopping environment and new décor. Neighborhood stores will now have a greater assortment of products from the region, including many local brands.
Save A Lot will also be expanding its digital marketing efforts with its campaign, 99 Days of Summer, that will run until Labor Day. This campaign will have both daily and weekly offers and deals, product giveaways, and a drawing for a grand prize boasting a value of up to $9,999. Digital scratch-offs and coupon offers are also part of this program.
VIA Agency based in Portland, Maine has also been hired by the company as its marketing agency. VIA’s responsibilities will include playing a significant role in the ongoing revitalization of the brand.
Save-A-Lot is planning to remodel one-third of its stores this year and to complete the remodeling of all 1,000 stores
