Major dance event to come to St. Ann region

The 17th annual Spring to Dance Festival will be coming to St. Louis next month. Residents of St. Ann who are interested in dance might consider attending this event.

This is a two-night event that will feature 12 companies and 75 artists from across the country. One of the most celebrated dance festivals in the Midwest, it offers a wide range of dance performances that will include up-and-comers, breakout stars, and powerhouse dance teams.

Poster printing can be used throughout a city and neighboring communities to promote such special and unique events.

The performance will start on Friday, May 23 at 7:30 pm. The first night will feature the Vitacca Ballet from Houston, Texas; The DASH Ensemble from Dallas, Texas; and Earthen Image Movement from Kansas City. There will also be Eisenhower Dance Detroit; Jennifer Olivas and Omar Olivas from Los Angeles, California and Edwardsville, Illinois; Katlyn Addison and Adrian Fry from Salt Lake City, Utah; and Water Street Dance Milwaukee.

On Saturday, May 24, performances will be by Visceral Dance Chicago; Houston Contemporary Dance Company; and Aerial Dance Chicago followed by Mutual Dance Theatre from Cincinnati, Ohio; Jennifer Olivas and Omar Olivas; and Ensemble EspaƱol Spanish Dance Theater from Chicago, Illinois.

The festival will take place at the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center on Touhill Circle in St. Louis.
