Remarkable volunteers from St. Ann area to be recognized

Locals have just a couple of weeks to put their nominations forward for a proud and long-running local award.

The Women of Achievement for 2026, which includes 10 outstanding volunteers from the metropolitan region of St. Louis, will be announced at the upcoming 2026 Women of Achievement Award Luncheon at the Ritz-Carlton in St. Louis.

Such luncheons and their awards may be of interest to both men and women from St. Ann, and can be promoted throughout a metropolitan area with flyer printing.

Nominations for the honorees are made by those in the metropolitan region of St. Louis, which includes metropolitan East Illinois. Those considered for the award have made a significant impact as a volunteer in areas such as the arts, education, youth and family, health and human services, advocacy, social justice, and philanthropy.

The St. Louis Post dispatch, Ladue News, and KMOX Radio are presenting sponsors of the award for this year.

St. Louis Women of Achievement was established in 1993 and is a non-profit organization. The goal is to ensure that the award continues for many years to come. Each year, members of the organization honor the women who volunteer in the St. Louis metropolitan region and make a real difference to lives in the area.

Nominations for the 2026 award are due by Sunday, January 11 and can be made via the event’s website. The luncheon will be at 11:30 am on Tuesday, May 19.
