New eatery opens in St. Ann area

Pierce Creek is now open in Creve Coeur in what was once Kohn’s Kosher Deli.

Local Print shops can help promote such new eateries with Flyers and other printed materials about their menu and special offerings.

It is owned by Rachelle L’Ecuyer and Kent Evans and features locally sourced ingredients as well as a goal to highlight products and producers from the region. The eatery is a work in progress and eventually will have a bar, restaurant, butcher shop, bakery, market, and catering services. This may be of interest to residents in nearby St. Ann.

L’Ecuyer and Evans purchased the property in 2024 after Kohn’s closed last July. They are redesigning the space so that all its elements flow together seamlessly. Its location benefits from being in a redevelopment area along Old Olive Street that is home to several major agriculture and technology companies. Pierce Creek will be the first retail business to open that relates to the mission of agribusiness.

The menu will include its tallow fries and signature smashburgers, as well as smoked brisket steak frites and beignets. There will be fresh baked goods and a sampling of fresh produce from area farmers.

The hours of Pierce Creek are from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday through Saturday. The market will be open until 5:00 p.m. on those days as well.
