New St. Ann area positions to help administer federal funds
The Community Development Administration (CDA) in St. Louis currently has $178,200,000 in federal funds to award to a wide range of private and public entities.
These include those looking to build affordable housing, provide public services to residents of the city with low and moderate incomes, and to conduct other community development activities.
In order for the CDA to carry out its activities, it is looking to fill about a dozen open positions. Residents of nearby St. Ann who are seeking employment may be interested in these jobs, which are designed to drive economic justice.
Among the open positions are two for community development specialists, four for grants administrators, three accountants, a grants manager, and a senior housing development analyst. Many such positions will most likely require business card printing services to help promote the benefits of this government entity.
The CDA has also been working on a Policies and Procedures manual for state and local jurisdictions so that there are procedures and forms in compliance with government requirements and other relevant federal, state, and local laws for monitoring the awarding of the funds. The CDA is planning to issue requests for proposal (RFPs) for market value analysis services, five year consolidate plan drafting services, customer relationship management system services, and disaster recovery administrative services within the next month.
