Maryland Winter Pro-Am Scramble Series will be coming to Upper Marlboro toward the end of January.
Entry fees for this golf experience will be $60 and will include green fees, entry into a prize pool for gift cards and $10 for the cash pool going to the team finishing first.
The golf event will be open to players at all levels and pros will be selecting their amateur team partners in a snake-style draft. A snake-style draft is where the team picking first in the first round will choose last in the second round and continue in reversing the order of selection in each subsequent round. Amateur players may view this part of the event in real time and can then proceed to set up their clubs on the appropriate carts.
Registration will run from 9:30 am to 10:30 am followed by pro picking teams from 10:45 am to 11:00 am. There will not be any preregistering, so players are to just show up, give their names, ages and handicaps. The shotgun start will be at 11:00 and prizes will be awarded starting at 3:30 pm.
Athletic event series like this often need to get local Print shops to Print their logos or event graphic designs on paper products and other paper needs such as directional Signs.
Maryland Winter Pro-Am will take place Friday, January 23rd at Lake Presidential Golf Club, 3151 Presidential Golf Drive.
