Upper Marlboro eats its way through July

Two big eating events will keep stomachs in Upper Marlboro full next month.

The headliner for The Black Diamond and Eve Red, White and Blue Cookout will be the Push Play Band playing indie, soul, and dance. Rush Hour Catering will be serving Jamaican cuisine. Small businesses will be vending their goods and services, and the event will also have games, door prizes, and giveaways.

General admission will be $34. Music and the cookout will begin at 2:00 pm. The event will close sometime between 11:00 pm and 1:00 am.

The Black Diamond and Eve Red, White and Blue Cookout will be held on Saturday, July 4 at 703 Castlewood Place.

Crab Feast Live will be four hours of summer fun with the emphasis on all-you-can eat crabs. Other food items available for purchase will include other BBQ-style meat, classic side dishes, and drinks.

Live entertainment will be provided by Wes Watkins Got My Own Sound and a local DJ will keep the energy high.

Tickets are $125 for advanced and $145 per person at the door. Local Print shops usually print event names on paper products used at food events like these.

Crab Feast Live will take place on Saturday, July 25 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Show Place Arena in the Prince George's Equestrian Center, 14900 Pennsylvania Avenue.
