Local running club tests endurance at Upper Marlboro park

Rosaryville State Park will be the setting for a test of physical endurance in Upper Marlboro this autumn, with off-road runs of 50 and 20 kilometers providing the challenge.

The Annapolis Striders Rosaryville Veterans Day Trail Race 50K & 20K has opened registration online to runners of all experience levels who want to enjoy a challenging day in nature that is centered around trail-running and recognizing service members of the United States military. Beginners are welcome, with the course featuring a single-track trail through the state park.

The 50K race will take runners on the trail for three complete loops, beginning at 8am. The 20K race will run 1.25 laps on the trail, with these participants taking off from the starting line at 9am. Banner printing can provide sponsors with impressions along the trail at events like this, connecting with runners and the audience that can lead to future engagement.

Capacity is limited to 250 participants for these races, and interested individuals are encouraged to reserve their spots. Two aid stations will be set up along the trail, post-race food will be available, and awards will be handed out after completion.

Rosaryville State Park in Upper Marlboro is set to host these distance races on Saturday, November 14th, starting at 8:00am. Registration costs $65 for a 50K race entry and $55 for a 20K entry online.
