Creatives in Upper Marlboro seeking a new hobby to try will want to save the date in their phones for an upcoming knitting workshop this August.
The Chunky Knit Pillow Workshop is officially coming to Upper Marlboro in a few weeks, and creatives in town will want to reserve their spots to learn in a fun and beginner-friendly environment. It is being organized by the Co.Z Spot, with participants learning the steps and techniques to make a pillow to take home and add to their decor.
Registered participants will be able to choose colors of yarn for their pillow design, making the end result a unique piece to commemorate the experience. Printing services can produce high-quality instructional documents that organizers can hand out to students at workshops like this, supporting the learning process at the host venue and later at home.
Students can expect a hands-on learning style coupled with demonstrations to help build confidence and reinforce the necessary knitting steps. Organizers have also stated that refreshing beverages will be available to guests to keep their creativity and energy high. It is expected to run for 2.5 hours.
