Grooving in Upper Marlboro takes on a fun meaning when it comes to enjoying the musical sounds of Vybe Band taking place at the premier local golf course.
In addition to Vybe performing, DJ Casper will appear between the performance. Food will be a highlight of the experience as Krab King will be onsite to offer tempting seafood selections. Bourbon Boar Barbecue will serve up some tasty BBQ selections, and two bars will offer a range of refreshments.
Vybe was formed in 2002 after the Virtuous group disbanded. Starting as an R&B cover band, the group played throughout D.C. The band covers a range of genres including funk and jazz. A percussionist, bassist, drummer, keyboardist, guitarist, trumpeter, saxophonist, trombonist, and vocalists comprise this robust band. The players describe their music as influenced by Chuck Brown, known as the Godfather of Go-Go.
