Holiday events here in Upper Marlboro range from a warm afternoon and evening at a Candlelight Christmas Caroling and Tree Lighting Celebration to Breakfast with the Grinch.
Wellspring Manor & Spa is presenting its annual Candlelight Christmas Caroling and Tree Lighting Celebration featuring a tree lighting ceremony, caroling by candlelight, cookies, hot apple cider and holiday vendors. Admission will be $25 for adults and free for children under 12. Pictures taken during events like this often go to local Stationery printers to be made into Christmas cards.
The Candlelight Christmas Caroling and Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm on Sunday, December 4th at 11311 Drumsheugh Lane.
Also, tickets are going quickly for Just Flawsome’s 2nd annual Breakfast with the Grinch.
Guests will be treated to a Whoville Breakfast. Other activities will include face painting, crafts to make and take, and a D.J. The Grinch and other special characters will be available to have their pictures taken with little ones for photo card keepsakes.
The 2022 Ms. Full-figured DMV Pageant will feature storytelling and a Toy Drive. Families are asked to donate one unopened toy.
Children’s tickets anyone up to the age of 16 will be $28, and adult tickets will be $24.
Breakfast with the Grinch will take place from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm Saturday, December 10 somewhere on Marlboro Pike in Upper Marlboro. The exact location will be given when tickets are purchased.
