Upper Marlboro moms get feted for Mothers Day

Upper Marlboro has a few brunch and lunch options for Mother’s Day.

On Saturday, May 7, from noon until 4:00 pm, David and Dr. Patricia M. Ross of Destiny World Changers will be hosting their 14h Annual Mother’s Day Luncheon at Camelot by Martin’s, 13901 Central Avenue. The theme this year will be “Honoring our Heritage…Embracing Our Future.” Along with a buffet, guests will receive gifts and be entertained by musician Myer McCoy. Vendors will be on site.

A Mother’s Day Champagne Jazz Brunch will feature a buffet brunch with a mimosa and specialty champagne bar, The brunch will be served in an outdoor tent with open air backdrop. Entertainment will be a live jazz performance by Cold Front featuring saxophonist Tony Craddock, Jr. This will be on Sunday, May 8 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at Wellspring Manor & Spa, 11311 Drumsheugh Lane.

On the same day, Dutch Farmers Market Shopping Center will host a Mother’s Day Brunch on from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Guests can enjoy the buffet, drinks, and live entertainment. Local vendors will be on hand with Mother’s Day gifts. This celebration will be at 5010 Brown Station Road, Suite 145.
