Three golf fundraisers scheduled

Upper Marlboro’s Oak Creek Golf Club will be the location of two fundraising golf tournaments in May, and the Lake Presidential Golf Club has one scheduled for June.

The first fundraiser at the Oak Creek Golf Club, 600 Bowieville Manor Lane, will be Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce which will hold its Annual Golf Tournament & Fundraiser for prospective members, business partners and Chamber members on Wednesday, May 11th from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Tickets are $300 for individual golfers, $600 for twosomes and $700 for foursomes.

Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc’s Beta Phi Omega Alumni Chapter will be presenting its first Annual John B. Jones Memorial Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament the next Wednesday on May 18th.

Registration for individuals will be $125 and $450 for foursomes.

Prizes will be given for longest drives by a female and male, closest to the hole, and a Grand Prize for a hole-in-one. The event will also have a 50/50 raffle with tickets going for $2.

Beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 am, Greater Washington Region Clean Cities Coalition will hold its 2022 Golf Outing Wednesday, June 15 at the Lake Presidential Golf Club, 3151 Presidential Golf Drive #8957. Golf club rental will be $50 and individual registration will be $119.
