Upper Marlboro’s Lake Presidential Golf Club will be holding the 2023 Enrich Mint Charity Golf Classic later in May.
Registration will begin at 8:00 am with the shotgun start at 8:30 am. The tournament will use the scramble format. Prizes will be awarded to the top teams. A lunch reception will follow from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a silent auction, with auction and tournament winners being announced during the awards ceremony beginning at 1:30 pm.
Registration includes 18 holes of golf, golf carts with GPS touchscreens, swag Bags, unlimited drinks (such as sodas, hydrating drinks, and domestic beer), and hole-in-one, closest to the pin and longest drive competition entries.
Swag Bags at events such as this often include sports items, especially golf-related ones such as tees, sweatbands, and golf balls marked with the donating company’s Logo Design.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to Enrich Mint, a networking organization that offers financial literacy training to local youth and young people emerging from the area’s foster care system. Participants usually bring Business Cards and use events such as this as networking opportunities.
