The Winter Festival of Lights will take place at Watkins Regional park as December arrives.
The holiday event presents a drive-through with more than a million lights. In total, the park displays over two million lights throughout the entire site.
Included in the display is one of the tallest Christmas trees at 54 feet, which is also an LED musical tree. Themed light displays are placed along the entire drive-through experience.
Brochure printing is a task performed by local Print shops for events of this type. Brochures are printed in full color and reflect the images and content of an activity for the purpose of communicating and promoting it.
Organizers are encouraging attendees to bring canned food goods which will be donated to local food banks.
On Monday, December 2, a free appreciation night will be held for Prince George’s County residents in support of the Parks and Recreation Department programs offered throughout the year. On Christmas Day, the festival of lights will be free. The event opens to the general public on December 4.
Free festival spectacles will be available at the gate, which presents a surprise for the eyes. The lenses create floating holographs from the points of lights in the displays.
Car admission prices start at $10 for cars or vans. Minibuses or limos are $20 and buses are $30. Multi-visit passes are also available. Tickets may be purchases online or at the gate.
