Springfield becomes home to popular brunch spot from Connecticut

The Place 2 Be restaurant, a popular chain for brunch in Connecticut, is now opened in Springfield at the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Gina Luari, owner of The Place 2 Be, opened the first location in the south end of Hartford in 2016. She had three locations of her restaurant in the state and when she discovered that many of the people eating at her locations were coming from Western Massachusetts, she knew she had to open a place in the state.

Lauri said that this eatery in Springfield is the largest of all the locations. She added that it has four bars and a private event space, along with parking, all of which sets it apart from the other locations. Such special features and other highlights of a new restaurant in town are often promoted with flyer printing.

On the menu are various egg dishes including omelets, steak and eggs, and breakfast nachos, as well as several variations on eggs Benedict such as Southern and Greek style. Signature dishes include chicken and waffle sliders; Nutella coconut, peaches and cream, and cookies-n cream pancakes; and Belgian waffles. Also on the menu are breakfast sandwiches, specialty toast, and a selection of tea and coffee drinks.

The Place 2 Be is open seven days a week from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
