New family attraction to come to Springfield

A new Lego Discovery Center will be coming to Springfield Town Center next year.

The Discovery Center will span 32,000 square feet and will offer an interactive experience for children and their families to create, explore, and play in a wide range of workshops and activities.

The center will have a new design and look, as well as a team of master model builders and playmakers who will provide indoor experiences with Lego and a range of creative workshops. Younger audiences will be able to enjoy a “Lego Duplo” area with slides and a carousel with a dinosaur theme and a dedicated indoor play area. The center will also feature a 4D movie theater and an experience of building your own mini figures.

Flyer printing is often used to inform residents and visitors of such upcoming attractions so they can make plans to visit once they are opened.

Justin Platt, Chief Strategy Officer for Merlin Entertainments, expressed his thrill in being able to bring the next generation Lego Discovery Center to the Washington, D.C. area. He added that the partnership with the Lego Group enables Merlin to bring these extraordinary opportunities for families and to improve the attraction, and to make Lego available to more people.

The Lego Discovery Center is expected to open in Summer 2023.
