A new Health Sciences Center is being planned for Springfield College.
The Center is currently at the end of the design phase. When completed it will serve as the anchor for the new academic green on the campus, and a gateway to the western part of the campus. The focus of the Center will be on business opportunities in healthcare and clinical services, offering a transformative approach to leadership, research, service, and education in healthcare.
The Center will feature classrooms that are rich in technology and state-of-the-art, with immersive learning laboratories. There will be a modern simulation suite and an operating suite, as well as treatment rooms that will allow for remote observable examination. A maker space for creating and designing new technologies for health and wellness and a learning-centered human anatomy laboratory will also be part of the Center. Students will have many other spaces available to them including lounge and study areas, storage for personal items, kitchen facilities, and changing rooms.
Printing services are often needed when such new buildings are under development as maps of campuses need to be updated and Brochures on campus facilities need to be revised.
The Center is also planning to offer new certificate programs and a Doctorate in Physician Assistant Studies. It is expected that the Center will open in 2023.Get a Free Quote for Brochures
