The clothing store, which will sell items from the Indian Motorcycle 1901 fashion collection, will be stocked up on regular tees with Indian Motorcycle Company graphic designs, jackets, hoodies, jewelry, sweatshirts, and accessories. The Indian Motorcycle brand was first established in 1901 when they became America’s first motorcycle company. This clothing line borrows from that heritage and produces clothing that has a very retro, yet edgy feel. The president of the Indian Motorcycle Company, Steve Menneto, made the following statement regarding the planned opening:
"Indian's legacy as America's first motorcycle company is something that's extremely important to us, and it's exciting to return the brand to its roots in Springfield with the opening of our first Apparel store. We are proud to be a part of this dynamic new MGM Resorts property and look forward to the grand opening festivities."
Indian is not the only store likely to be introduced, with MGM also announcing a potential Kringle Candle location on the campus, as well a several entertainment venues and restaurants.
