The Mass Mutual Center and MGM Springfield will be hosting the Boston Red Sox next month for their annual Winter Weekend fan event.
There will be photo opportunities with players and coaches, as well as autograph sessions, panel talks on a wide range of topics, and a Town Event during the two-day festival. Such events are often promoted through flyer printing with mailers that can be sent throughout a region and beyond.
Sam Kennedy, president and CEO of the Red Sox, expressed his hope that this festival will create memories of a lifetime for Red Sox fans and for people from all over the area who come to Springfield for the event. He added that this event will provide an opportunity for the coaching staff and Red Sox players to get together at the end of the season and for fans to connect with the team for next year.
Domenic Sarno, mayor of Springfield, added that this is a huge event for the city as there will be Red Sox stars and close to 10,000 people from across New England, the United States, and potentially from around the world gathering in the city. This new collaboration between the Red Sox and MGM can be the beginning of a special relationship in the city.
The fan Winter Weekend will be held from Friday, January 17 to Saturday, January 18.
