Oak Park residents will want to save the date for an upcoming pop-up market where they can find vintage clothing and other thrifting opportunities in town.
The Free Community Pop-Up Thrift Boutique is getting ready to open in Oak Park this November, giving shoppers the chance to pick out and purchase lightly used Apparel and accessories for all sizes, ages, and genders. It is being put together by Give-n-Receive Inc. to make these articles of clothing more accessible for the community while doubling as a center where residents can donate clothing they do not wear.
Those who wish to donate clothing and accessories can bring these items to the pop-up the day that it opens, though donations are not required to shop. Flyer printing can provide all of the details about events like this, and busy public spaces can help these Flyers reach more of the community.
Shoppers can peruse areas showcasing children’s, women’s, men’s, and baby’s clothing, as well as accessories. No toys, shoes, housewares, or undergarments will be accepted. Give-n-Receive Inc. hopes to make a difference with clothing insecurity through these pop-up events with assistance from local outreach programs, community spaces, and businesses.
The pop-up boutique is scheduled for Saturday, November 14th, from noon to 3:00pm. It will be held at the Oak Park Public Library on Lake Street. Admission is free and open to the public.
