Oak Park residents who are looking for fun ways to be part of a community and stay active are in luck this autumn, as a 3K race is coming to nearby River Forest.
The 11th Annual Terri’s Race 3K is drawing closer, and Oak Park residents who want to participate will want to get their running shoes ready. The fundraiser is open to individuals who wish to walk, jog, run, or rollerblade, with the ultimate goal of the experience centered on bringing people together and having an enjoyable time.
Organizers have mapped out a scenic route for the 3K to add to the overall experience. All fitness levels are welcome, and interested individuals are encouraged to invite friends and family to be part of Terri’s Race. Printing services can aid with banner and flyer printing to help spread the word of fundraising events like this, leading to higher turnout and more impressions for sponsors.
The proceeds from this year’s race will benefit the Terri Race Educational Technology Fund, which aims to make technology more accessible for students in the greater Chicago area. Registration is open online to provide more convenience.
The race will start at Lincoln Elementary School in neighboring Forest River. Attendees are welcome to arrive at 10:00 am on Sunday, October 4. Registration costs $30 per person online.
