Sam Robbins will hold a show at the Oak Park Public Library’s main branch in September.
Fans of the folk genre can attend a concert presented by the Friends of the Oak Park Public Library. The event is part of the library’s Folk Music Series Performance and will feature Sam Robbins as the headliner. Robbins is an award-winning singer and songwriter from Nashville who has shared the stage with famous performers like Jason Mraz. He has written many original songs, including What a Little Love Can Do, Bigger Than in Between, and Hard to Hate.
Robbins went to school at the Berklee College of Music and has gone on to perform at several notable events, including the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, the Fox Valley Folk Music and Storytelling Festival, and the Wheatland Festival. He has even performed in cities such as Morristown and Cambridge. Robbins can also be booked for smaller events like house concerts.
