The Oak Park River Forest Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating a milestone this April as it presents its 10th annual Community Health and Wellness Fair.
The event will feature over 50 exhibitors representing different health and wellness-based organizations in the Oak Park region. Vendors are selected from an online application process, with an eye to showcasing exhibitors that contribute to healthy lifestyles. The Oak Park Public Health Department and Engaging Community for Healthy Outcomes program will be among the community organizations represented.
The Fair typically receives hundreds of visitors, who can receive complimentary screenings and take part in family-friendly activities. This year’s market will include a rock climbing wall for kids and the young at heart to try out. The Fair will also be providing healthy snacks and complimentary tote Bags while supplies last. The event has become a staple of the local business community over the past 10 years.
The event is hosted in conjunction with Rush Oak Park Hospital and other local organizations. Markets and other community events often use signage and banner printing to highlight sponsors, volunteers and other contributors. Past sponsors and exhibitors have included Mosaic Counseling and Wellness, American House Senior Living, and The Sheridan at River Forest.
The 2026 installment of the Community Health and Wellness Fair will take place on April 19 at FFC Health Club in Oak Park. Admission is free.
